lost at sea

Waking up some mornings

Almost like i’m in the the middle of nowhere

Mind blank

Nothing behind my eyes

Like I’ve been abandoned on a ship

In the middle of the ocean

Waking up alone

Surrounded by nothing but dark deep blue

Waves crashing against the side

Making my mind whirl

Spinning around nothing

As the day gets later

The waves get harder

Causing me to lose balance

That’s all it took

One wave

And I lost it

Falling into the never ending darkness

The waves kept coming

Pushing me further and further down

Every second it feels like a new one comes

Slowing losing all sanity

As the oxygen leaves my lungs

I can feel myself losing it

I can myself being pushed

to breaking points I didn’t know existed

There was nothing special about that one wave

Nothing setting it apart from the other waves

It was simply the build up

That made me fall
